DETECTABLE

Detectable, in the sense of identifiable or traceable, plays a decisive role in various industrial sectors.
Detectable products are manufactured using a special plastic that can be quickly and reliably identified by detection systems. If small fragments of components used on production machines get into food or other sensitive products during the manufacturing process, they are usually first discovered by the consumer. 

Operating principle

Through the use of detectable components, these fragments can be detected quickly and reliably either by detection systems or visually. With metal-detectable products, metallic additives are processed into the plastic, enabling metal detectors to quickly detect any impurities. 

The visually detectable products are made from an ultramarine blue plastic. Blue foodstuffs are very seldom, so any unwanted fragment of defective operating parts and standard elements stand out on the product surface due to the blue colour. This enables both the human eye and a wide variety of optical surveillance systems to easily recognise it.
